All-rounder Marlon Samuels has been named in the West Indies World Cup squad, despite a probe into alleged links with an Indian bookmaker.

The 26-year-old is under investigation after allegedly giving information about the team batting order.

In the only surprise squad selection, 19-year-old Trinidad all-rounder Kieron Pollard was handed a place in the 15.

Another Trinidadian, 22-year-old Lendl Simmons, is also included, having played only six one-day internationals.

Five players have been named as reserves, Fidel Edwards, Sylvester Joseph, Dave Mohammed, Runako Morton and Darren Sammy.

The Windies begin the tournament with a match against Pakistan in Jamaica on 13 March.
