India field in Calcutta one-dayer

Sri Lanka have lost only eight out of 30 ODIs under Jayawardene
India captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and put Sri Lanka into bat in the first game of the one-day series in Calcutta.

Yuvraj Singh (back), Irfan Pathan (shoulder) and Ajir Agarkar (fever) were ruled out for the home side.

But recalled opener Virender Sehwag will come in at three and paceman Munaf Patel is back after an ankle problem.

Sri Lanka, whose star bowlers Chaminda Vaas and Muttiah Muralitharan are being rested at home, named a strong batting line-up for the first of four games.
The match is currently delayed due to rain!
