One-day international, Centurion:
South Africa 392-6 (50 ovs) v Pakistan
Here are the Live Scores.
South Africa made an explosive start to the one-day series against Pakistan, racking up 392-6 at Centurion.
Skipper Graeme Smith hit six fours off Rana Naved-ul-Hasan in an over costing 27 runs and raced to 72 off 47 balls.
He was stumped in the 19th over, as spinner Mohammad Hafeez captured two wickets in an over during a powerplay.
But Jacques Kallis (88) hit three sixes in an over from Naved, who conceded 92 from eight overs, and shared 128 in only 10.2 overs with Mark Boucher (78).
Naved, who took 35 Championship wickets for Sussex before injury curtailed his English county season in 2006, shared the new ball with Mohammad Asif but saw his first two deliveries hit to the boundary by Smith.
Smith and AB de Villiers blasted 140 from the opening 18 overs before the captain was deceived by a flatter delivery.
Loots Bosman hit his second ball for four but next up got a thin edge off the back foot.
De Villiers launched Hafeez into the stands at mid-wicket but was caught attempting to repeat the shot off Shahid Afridi.
Kallis and Ashwell Prince began rebuilding the innings patiently, the all-rounder waiting until his 50th delivery before striking his first boundary.
When Prince departed, Boucher quickly accelerated the scoring, pummelling Hafeez with a blistering run of six, six, four, four.
Asif did not escape the punishment, smashed for three fours and two sixes in the 47th over.
The beleagured Naved was handed the final over and removed Justin Kemp with the first ball, but there was still time for Kallis to hit the 10th six of the innings.
