Younis falls to Canada's Cummins

Pakistan lost the early wicket of vice-captain Younis Khan after being asked to bat first by Canada in their World Cup warm-up in Trinidad.

Younis was caught by wicket-keeper Ashish Bagai off the bowling of Anderson Cummins for 11 after he was surprsingly asked to open the batting.

After six overs, the score was 22-1, with the classy Mohammad Yousuf coming in to join Imran Nazir (10 not out).

Pakistan were able to pick from just 13 players for the match in St Augustine.

The replacements for injured bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have not yet arrived in the Caribbean.

Mohammad Sami will arrive later in the week, pending clearance from the International Cricket Council's technical committee, but Yasir Arafat is yet to clear his doping test.
