Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar was proud of his side's efforts despite their four-wicket Super 8 defeat to England in Barbados.
The result all but ended Bangladesh's chances of reaching the last four.
He said: "We didn't know how many to score. We were maybe 60 or 70 short but I am happy with the way we fought back.
"We lost too many early wickets but I am happy with the way we played. We still have two games left and hopefully we can push Ireland and West Indies."
Bashar praised youngster Saqibul Hasan, whose fighting innings of 57 not out saved them from total collapse.
"We've been here for quite a while in the Caribbean and this is the first time we found a hard and bouncy wicket. That made a difference but, whatever the conditions, we didn't bat well.
"If one guy could have supported Saqibul, it would have been a different story, we would have scored around 200-220.
"He is a young kid but he showed a positive approach and that no matter what happens he can score runs, as you can do if you put some price on your wicket."
Despite Bangladesh's total of only 143, England captain Michael Vaughan said he was impressed by their approach.
"I can see why they are making it difficult for some good teams because of the way they play. They bat with a fearless approach, they've got plenty of talent, and when they bowl they squeeze you well," he commented.
Bashar, meanwhile, admitted he was embarrassed by his dismissal, run out by Vaughan's throw after the latter had dropped partner Shahriar Nafees.
"I was a bit frustrated with the way I thought Shahriar was out - I just thought 'Oh. my God'. I didn't see the ball and suddenly I heard him shout 'he dropped it', but it was too late," he added.
Bangladesh now lie seventh in the Super 8 table with just two points from five matches. Their remaining games are against Ireland on 15 April and hosts West Indies four days later
