A Look on the Ashes '06!

As u all must be knowing that Ashes 2006 is being played in Australia.Ashes for England and Australia is just like any India Vs Pakistan match.They have very strong emotions attached to it.
The first test match of the Ashes series,played at Brisbane, was won easily by Australia by 227 runs.The match summary of the 1st test can be seen Here.
The 2nd test match is being played at Oval.The match started at 1st dec.England won the toss and elected to bat first.The decision proved right when they declared there innings at 551 for the loss of only six wickets.Paul Collingwood and Kevin Petersen were the leading scores.Collingwood scored a double century and was caught out by gilchrist on the bowling of clark,while peterson got run out at a score of 146.
Australia in reply,initially had some problems due the early wickets of justing langer (out for 4 runs),Mathew hayden (out for 12 runs) and Damien Martyn(out for 11 runs).At one stage Aussies were 65/3.After these 3 early wickets captain Ricky ponting stayed onto the crease with Mike hussey making a partner ship of 192 valuable runs giving stability to the innings.on the total of 257,Ricky ponting got out (c jones b hoggard) after scoring 142 runs.at the moment the score of Aussies is 285/4 with Mike hussey(91*) and Michael Clarke(16*) on the wicket!
