Sialkot Stallions beat Karachi Dolphins by 14 runs

Sialkot stallionsKARACHI: Sialkot Stallions outshined Karachi Dolphins by 14 runs and retained their title in the final of Twenty20 Cup Cricket Championship here at National Stadium tonight.

Stallions, who elected to bat first, scored 151 in 20 overs. Imran Nazir being a top scorer for the Stallions made 46 runs followed by Shoaib Malik with 31 and Shahzad Malik with 30 runs.

Fawad Aalam grabbed five, while Wasim Naeem and Aazam Hussain took two wickets each for the loosing team.

Dolphins later responded with 137 runs altogether, making way for Stallions to defend their Twenty20 title.
