South Africa Pollock honoured

Durban: All-rounder Shaun Pollock was honoured by Kwazulu Natal Cricket Association here, for becoming first South African bowler to reach 400 Test wickets.
The paceman achieved the feat against India at the Wanderers, during his 103rd Test.
Pollock 33 thanked his father Peter Pollock, a former South African fast bowler, for his support.
He picked out his innings displays of five for 37 (against Pakistan in Faisalabad, 1997) and seven for 87 (against Australia in Adelaide,1998) as his most memorable efforts.
In Faisalabad, South Africa pulled off remarkable 53-run win
defending 145. In Adelaide, Pollock led attack in absence of his
illustrious new ball partner, Allan Donald. South Africa almost
snatched a win in this Test.
