England set for hectic tour of NZ

England will play three back-to-back Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches in their two-month tour of New Zealand next year.

England will arrive on 28 January and after two one-day warm-up games will face the Kiwis in seven limited-overs games, starting with the Twenty20s.

England will play one two-day match and one three-day game before the first Test at Hamilton on 5 March.

The tour will end on 26 March after further Tests in Wellington and Napier.

England play in the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa and travel to Sri Lanka twice during the first half of their winter programme before Christmas.

New Zealand will tour England in the summer of 2008.
