Pakistan has got themselves in rather a difficult situation after loosing first test match against west Indies where they had an excellent opportunity to focus and take lead in the test series. It was however West Indies, who looked more focused and determined and they won the first test match of this 2 test series from Pakistan. This was west Indies's first test match victory after 18 tests.
Pakistan, on the other hand, also does not have a clean record in West Indies and were hoping to make history by winning a test series in west Indies but lost their way in the first test match. Only option for them now is to win this match and get the series to a respectable 1-1 state.
